We all have heard of a maple tree, willow tree and oak tree, but how about a vegan tree? That's a right - a tree that gives vegan surprises! Here's how to construct your very own vegan tree and use it for giving out favors or door prizes at your next party:
What You'll Need:
Foam Posterboard
Paints and/or Crayons
Scissors
6-8 Felt Sheets in Light and Dark Shades of Green
What to Do:
1. Use the posterboard to draw the outline of a tree with a large trunk and and at least 5 branches.
2. Use paints or crayons to color in the trunk
3. Cut out 10-15 leaves from green felt sheets. I used darker green for the majority background leaves and lighter green for the front "prize" leaves.
4. Use superglue to carefully adhere them to the posterboard trunk.
5. Once your tree is assembled, use a tack (preferable decorative and cute) to stick a notecard or post-it note with the name/description of the door prize on the back
My Prizes:
$5 GC to Vitamin Shoppe
$5 GC to Jamba Juice
Gourmet vegan chocolate
Kale chips
Kind Bars
You and are guests will have a blast pulling the leaves off this tree to reveal its prizes.

Vegan Bingo - a.k.a. VINGO!
Ready for a vegan twist on the classic game of Bingo? Then meet VINGO - a fun new way to play this popular game of squares and call numbers.
What You'll Need:
Bingo Game Set with Cage (This mini-set I purchased from Walmart worked great! You can get a larger set if you want)
Custom VINGO Cards
Felt-tip Marker (to write on balls)
Your choice of prizes
How to Play:
Once you have your Bingo set, print out custom VINGO cards online.
1. Fill up cards. To fill up cards, you have to come up with 75 vegan-related words and/or terms and enter 15 of these words under each letter of VINGO. I used the names of fruits and veggies, along with some popular vegan food items and brands (green juice, nooch, Daiya, Oreos), but you're free to be creative and use whatever words you like. I recommend marking the Free Space in the middle with the word "Vegan"!
2. Print out cards according to the number of players you'll have.
3. Write words on Bingo balls. This part requires you to individually write out each of the words on every Bingo ball according to its letter. For example, since there are 15 words belonging to the letter B (which will be V in Vingo), you have to write each word that falls under "B" on every marked "B" ball in your set. Then do the same for all the letters under letter "I", then letter "N", and so on, until all 75 balls have your words/terms written under their designated letter.
4. Once you have your custom cards and balls ready, you're all set to play Vingo! This game follows all the same rules as regular Bingo with a person pulling balls out of cage and calling the numbers (in this case it would be words) written on each ball.
In my game, we played 3 rounds of all-ways Vingo (where anyone can win whether their chips lined up vertical, horizontal or diagonal) and the winners gota fun vegan-related prize:
My Prizes:
$5 Gift Card to Whole Foods Market
$5 Gift Card to Smoothie King
Handmade vegan soap
Everyone had a blast with this game and I'm sure you're guests will enjoy this vegan twist on Bingo as well. Questions or comments, or anything to add to this game? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks!
